One circular spot, where a pot once lived, on the hospital floor defied the glossy polish. Jai left rings: coffee prints on paper, a mystery loop on the new end table, whisker circlets in the sink. What would I do without them?

Mmmm coffee. The object of my affection at the start of the day. I’ve dirtied quite a number of rough manuscripts with those little rings. Lovely take on the prompt. 😀

I loved “mystery loop.” So many little memories and cues to make up the whole.

Thank you! When I initially wrote it I had “ring” in as fillers and I went back and changed that one word to the little descriptors like “loop” and “circlet”.
