Ingredients:
4 oz Elmer’s Glue-All (PVC Glue) Note: School Glue has varying compositions and doesn’t work so I don’t recommend it.
1 cup Water (use 1/2 cup if using Liquid Starch)
1 tsp Borax — (you can use 1/2 cup of liquid starch instead of borax).
Food Coloring (Optional)
In a bowl or plastic sandwich bag, combine the 4oz glue with 1 cup of water (pour water into the empty bottle and shake to get all the glue). Add food coloring now if using. Prepare the borax solution, then add to the glue-water mixture. Stir. Once the polymer forms, knead with your hands and drain off any excess water. Store in a plastic bag or air tight container. Experiment by increasing or decreasing the amount of borax and compare results.
