Reimagined/juxtaposed songs are fun. Some of my faves: Ronnie Spector’s girl-group version of Beach Boys “Don’t Worry Baby”, Leela James RnB “Don’t Speak” by no doubt, Lauryn Hill’s “Can’t Take My Eyes off of You” (and I don’t even like the original), Colbie Caillat’s acoustic version of Jackson Five “I Want You Back,” and Yael Naim’s super slow super sultry version of Britney Spears “Toxic.” Delicious.
