This is the result from the post where I challenged some of my readers to Pimp My Dinner using the ingredients I had available. This is the result. Thanks to for the soup idea rabidgnome! There’s still corn and spinach leftover to try and make something with the P.A.N. another day.
I hope you weren’t expecting an actual recipe with measurements. You know me better than that when it comes to Pot Luck Roulette.
You need:
1 box of frozen squash
1/2 bag of frozen spinach
some milk
too much butter to be healthy
sea salt
fresh ground pepper
dried ground ginger
fresh grated nutmeg
some onion
some garlic
Saute the onion and garlic. Dump the rest of the stuff in to your taste and cook until it is done. Serve immediately to children who give you the stink eye.
They ate it anyway. I thought it was delicious and it went very well with the quick bread.

Haha! I thought it would be fun. Since I can’t afford a personal chef, it seemed like an viable alternative!
