Daughter:  *says something clever*
Me:  “Yes, that’s right!  I didn’t know you knew that.”
Daughter:   “That’s because I’m a jesus!”

(Keep in mind that we are atheists and the mis-wording is even more hilarious.)

      It was all I could do not to bust a gut laughing when she said it. I managed to say, “You mean genius.” and she said, “That’s what I said! A jesus!” I guess I should work on my enunciation 🙂
